Today I’d like to share a tale of the power of thought, manifestation and the law of attraction.

It may sound esoteric nevertheless, those of us who practice and regularly manifest know it’s truth and those who don’t, well let’s face it, are likely in awe or are jealous.

Of the many practices I regularly impart to keep my mind mess-free is positive affirmations. Again, this may sound hokey to some but, they’re not any more or less hokey than the commercials you’re exposed to OVER and OVER and OVER that are programming your brain.

You know that commercial tagline that when I wrote this you thought of instantly…. I will both date myself and prove my point with this expletive, “Where’s the beef!?” Disclaimer: if you’re young you might not know about this and think “beef” is reference something suggestive – and that’s fun too. But no – it was a Wendy’s commercial.

Am I right? The fact is, there are thousands of messages burrowing neural pathways into you brain everyday THAT YOU ARE NOT CHOOSING. Kinda scary. So, affirmations or self-planned mental programming sound pretty GD sexy right NOW don’t they!? They are messages YOU CHOOSE not some clever marketer (like me .

They empower you to take responsibility for your thoughts, perceptions, ideals and ultimately, how you interact with the word. Pretty sweet right?

So will it be Gieko and Coke building the fortress of your mind for their bidding, or will it be you choosing your thought patterns for your own legacy?

I am slithering a bit off topic so back on track. One of the strategically self-chosen things I choose to repeatedly tell myself is this, “What I am looking for is also looking for me.” In the context of my life’s work/passion I tweak it to be a little more specific and it goes, “The clients I am looking for are also looking for me.”

It feels good to say this, as I bring this awareness into my body and I summons my desired reality. Still sometimes it feels a little hokey even for for me, until the Universe responds.. with what the “un-woke” would call coincidence and the “woke” might refer to as a synchronicity.In a nutshell, a synchronicity is a coincidence to eerily apt to be ignored, it’s a life sign.

The frequency of these events in my life are indicative and evidence to the depth of my alignment and state of flow.

AND Man, I be flowing! So here’s what happened.

Through my work that is multifaceted in the various realms of wellness I have challenged myself to chooses a specialty or a focused concentration of people to serve. I did a meditation and asked for guidance ( I had already done the cursory workshops, and lists and intellectual version of this exercise and came up with a whole lot of indecision).

I had to go deeper and what came up surprised me. It was something that I had not yet put pen to paper about. It was inspired – yet not far off from my own personal journey. What came up was the inspired awareness to serve those who have reached a “traditional concept of success” yet, are feeling soul sucked, somehow unfulfilled and called or driven do do “something more” Those who want to ASCEND BEYOND to flourish in life with a profound sense of purpose, passion, and integrity ( perhaps motivated with a side scoop of divine grace).

Hell yes!, this sounded awesome to me! Or whatever sense or noisea meditation inspiration makes -”PEEP?!”…and while it may not seem a population in dire need, the malaise of stuckness, of living without purpose, without passion… can be truly painful. If you’re there or have been there, you feel/remember the burn, the nagging pull to actualize. It’s not to be ignored.

But with a coach, it could be as natural and wondrous as a chrysalis evolving into a beautiful butterfly. (Heimlich in the video, is my model for this, lol).

Not a week later I was contacted by a perspective client who wanted to explore the possibility of working together. She scheduled a discovery call and in the scheduling form it asks, what brought them to seek coaching. What the response was, made me stop, almost do a double take and as I confirmed what I thought I read, the hairs on the back of my neck, one by one came to attention.

She wrote about having a great job (she has a professional degree) but she wasn’t feeling fulfilled and had a deep notion that she was meant for something more meaningful, more impactful. She had a vision of what she wanted to do but needed encouragement, clarity and support on follow through. I was like holy you-know-what!

And immediately my mind backward zoomed to my affirmation, “the clients I am looking for are also looking for me”. We called to and attracted one another. On the call when she spoke her story to me first hand, I felt compelled to tell her the process I had recently gone through. Probably not something I would normally share as it’s a behind the scenes kind of epiphany but, It felt like I should. She told me it was funny I said that because she wasn’t sure if or why reaching out to was the right thing. We had a laugh as we mutually and resounding agreed it was. Telling the story made the difference.

This was a clear sign, that coincidence too powerful to ignore that yells in exaltation that I am on the right path and to keep going. In that moment, I felt a rush of gratitude and awe and felt blessed. When things you do make you feel like that, it naturally makes you want to keep doing them.

The call was no less fantastic. This soul is on FIRE and I haven’t the slightest doubt that she will successfully evolve and spread her wings. The conversation was energizing and inspiring and I FELT AS THOUGH I WAS LIVING MY PURPOSE as I listened to the mounting excitement and assuredness in her voice as the minutes of our call ticked by.

It was just so lovely to feel deeply fulfilled loving what I’m doing.

The universe has confirmed and I wholly know I need to serve this group in addition to others butterflies…. and I knowI LOVE COACHING
